Jack Flaherty taps Bristol Studio to pay homage to his Love of Hoops.

For Players' Weekend 2025, in collaboration with Jack Flaherty, we designed exclusive cleats and belts inspired by both Jack and our LA basketball roots.

Jack Flaherty was raised in Los Angeles,and is a self-professed Kobe Bryant super-fan who grew up during the Shaq and Kobe era.

Jack, although he is currently a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, was a huge part in bringing a World Series title to his hometown, pitching for the LA Dodgers throughout the 2024 season. The unique combination of Jack's journey, passion for hoops, and Bristol's design language make this collaboration a full-circle tribute to the city and sport that shaped him.

Flaherty debuted our bespoke belts and cleats on the mound during MLB’s Players Weekend. Our designs reimagined baseball gear using traditional basketball fabrics and textures: headband-inspired trim, net-like laces, and panels of orange and blue “pebbled” leather reminiscent of a basketball.

Players' Weekend is the league’s annual event that lets athletes showcase personal stories and style by wearing custom-designed equipment – and Flaherty’s story of an LA kid who idolized the Lakers is woven into every stitch.
