Memorial Park — Editorial
As a kid, I practically lived at Memorial Park. It was my local basketball gym, but it was also so much more than that. Away from all the ups-and-downs that we face as kids, everything fell into place in that gym — on that court. It was the place I met my lifelong friends and learned lessons that would guide me after I created Bristol Studio — attention-to-detail, work ethic, and persistence.
I've always wanted to go back and show you Memorial through my eyes. In bringing you into a world so personal to me, I hope it helps you understand me, the brand, and why I do what I do on a deeper level. Thanks for reading.
PS — Modeling the collection is Jordan, a kid I met while playing in this gym who has since become part of the Bristol family. All photos are taken by Mark Peace.
Led by co-founder and creative director Luke Tadashi, Bristol Studio is an award-winning garment studio and lifestyle brand based in Los Angeles, California.
The brand's distinct offerings are notable for their reimagining of iconic sportswear silhouettes with a strong focus on the track suit, warm-ups, and sweats. Through the use of unconventional materials and custom developed fabrics, garments take form in unique and at times experimental shapes. They are often intended to fit oversized to encourage movement and create a feeling of ease.
Since inception, Bristol Studio has presented seasonal collections at NYFW:M and been featured in The New York Times, Hypebeast, GQ and other premiere media outlets.
